2011 Holiday Event
The Konica Minolta Colorful Tomorrow Foundation will partner with JoRide Bicycles this Holiday Season to donate 60 pedal-less bicycles to young riders throughout the Chicago area. As part of The CTF's mission to transform lives, enable communities and inspire ideas for the next generation to shape a more colorful tomorrow, the modified bicycles will be given to local organizations, schools and individual recipient families at a 2011 Holiday Event.
USA Natural Disasaters Relief Campaign
After devastating natural disasters struck throughout the U.S.A. in Spring 2011, all USA-based divisions of the Konica Minolta Group teamed up once again to support their families, friends, and colleagues through a CTF fundraising campaign. The CTF is proud to partner once again with the American Red Cross to support those affected by recent natural disasters like the horrific tornadoes, floods, and wildfires. We invite everyone to join us as 100% of all raised funds will go directly to the recovery efforts.
Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Relief Campaign
In 2011, all USA-based divisions of the Konica Minolta Group united to support their Japanese friends and colleagues after the devastating earthquake and tsunami disaster. With a mission to maximize individual divisions' contributions and to provide an immediate, maximum impact, Konica Minolta employees worked together to raise much needed funds. To date, The CTF has raised nearly $70,000 to support the relief efforts, and plans to assist with the long-term recovery plan.
Haiti Earthquake Relief Campaign
In 2010, Haiti suffered their worst earthquake disaster in over 200 years, and the loss of life and everyday amenities was unimaginable. The CTF partnered with the American Red Cross in holding an employee fundraiser to address immediate humanitarian needs. Through the incredible generosity of Konica Minolta employees plus a Corporate Matching Plan, The CTF raised over $31,000 for this important international cause.
McDonogh 15 School for the Creative Arts, New Orleans, LA
Affectionately known as “The Little Red School House,” McDonogh 15 is part of the national Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP) network of schools and is located in the French Quarter just off Bourbon Street. McDonogh 15 is a haven for students who rhyme to arithmetic, draw the dinosaur age and sing the state capitals – cultivating the next generation of famous New Orleans artists.
International Rett Syndrome Foundation (IRSF)
The International Rett Syndrome Foundation is the world’s largest private funder of scientific research seeking a cure for Rett Syndrome. The core mission of the IRSF is to fund research for treatments and a cure for Rett Syndrome and enhancing the overall quality of life for those living with Rett Syndrome.
The Phoenix Sister Cities Chengdu Earthquake Relief Fund
With financial assistance from the Konica Minolta Colorful Tomorrow Foundation, the Phoenix Sister Cities Chengdu Earthquake Relief Fund raised more than $120,000 that will be sent to Chengdu, China, to help rebuild schools that were devastated during the massive earthquake in May.
